Jurassic Park is hands down my favorite movie so I was more than thrilled to find a kids version of this classic。 My son enjoyed the read through of it （especially the ROAR and HISS sound effects） and most importantly the story was shortened to keep its core plot without the potentially traumatizing bits。

As I was reading this to my boy， I kept thinking how there was a lot of running and very little plot flow。 But he didn’t seem to mind。 Everyone gets away in the end and no one dies。 It must be tricky to condense a movie into 32 pages。

This is such a lovely little book for dinosaur fans。 The quality is great with a hardboard cover as is usually the case with Little Golden Books。 The pages have some really cool illustrations， and although the story has been massively edited down to make it a suitable length for children you still get a good sense of the main plot lines。
